This 1912 '3 Crown' Ronisch upright piano was manufactured in Germany during the golden era of European piano manufacture. The internal structure of the piano is of the highest quality and comprises a full iron frame, quality overstrung German design and handmade, solid timber underdamper playing action. Structurally and mechanically this piano is far more superior than most modern pianos made from plastic components and chipboard panelling.
The piano has just been released from our piano restoration workshop having undertaken a full internal recondition, service and tuning to concert pitch. It has a lovely warm tone typical of a piano from this era and is suitable for all levels of playing, from beginner to advanced.
The classic Art Deco style cabinet has been cleaned, oiled and hand-polished, bringing out its beautiful colour and grain pattern. The hand carved artisan style top panel and mouldings are unique to the cabinet maker who originally manufactured the timber cabinet of the piano. The original ebony and ivory keyboard has also been reconditioned.
This is a beautiful European handmade instrument and historical piece that would aesthetically suit an older style original or restored home such as a colonial or bungalow style as a feature piece. Alternatively, it would act as a feature piece in a modern home and, with a full 12-year warranty, comes with piece of mind in the long term.
The price of the piano includes professional delivery, piano bench, post-delivery tuning and a 12-year warranty.
